It's official - Jim Carrey says no to "Limpet"
02 Jul 1999 That's it folks, Jim Carrey finally decided, and "The Incredible Mr. Limpet" will not be on his list of future projects. Warner will now likely offer the role to Mike Myers or Robin Williams.
According to Reuters the projects being now developed for Carrey are "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" at New Line and the supposedly gone and forgotten "God of Cookery" at Fox. Besides these projects, Warner is reportedly also trying to pitch "Get Smart".
