Gossip from the "Yes Man" set
13 Dec 2007

By Nicola West (Editor/Writer (UK))

Recently HRH Danny Wallace wrote about his own cameo stint on the set of "Yes Man", for the British publication 'Shortlist' and in his own words 'felt like a twat'.
Underneath a Moosehead might not have been the best place to try and impress Jim Carrey and to tell him your dad is William Wallace can only seal the deal as a tea loving, British nutter.

And that's why we love you Danny! Read the interview here 'Shortlist Magazine' (Page 18)

Yes Man

Another tale of onset antics came from an anonymous Jim fan, who approached JCO with an account of their time spent as a member of the backdrop staff. More commonly refferred to as an 'extra' our source worked on the set of "Yes Man" recently and appears to have had a great experience.

For your delectation here's their account:

I worked on "Yes Man" last night at the Ontario Convention Center. I am featured in the scene! I was placed along with my friend to walk directly behind Jim and his co-star as they make their way out of the "LAX Airport." Yes, it was all redone to look just like LAX, very impressive. Some guy on set got sent home for approaching Jim and asking to shake his hand...what an idiot!

Anyway, I was only feet from Jim all night, which was really exciting!

Oh well, that's the story. Our shoot continues for Thursday (today), Monday and Tuesday at the Kodak Theatre for a convention scene. There will be about 1.000 of us there for those dates.

Take care and keep laughin!

And remember to keep those tid-bits coming folks.
