Jim Carrey's family comedy "Mr. Popper's Penguins" held up moderately well in its second weekend despite new competition for kids dropping 45% to $10.1 million. With $39.3 million in ten days, a $70 million final seems likely.

Internationally, "Mr. Popper's Penguins" grossed $3.4 million from 1,187 screens in 16 foreign markets this weekend. The movie did open with $1.4 million in Germany and has now grossed $4.6 million internationally so far, placing its worldwide total at $43.9 million

The other new movie where Jim Carrey has a small part is "Conan O'Brien Can't Stop". It grossed $97,043 from 24 locations for a good per-theater average of $4,043. The documentary will expand the coming weeks.

Jim Carrey's last movie in theaters is the other documentary "Under the Sea 3D" which still is playing in IMAX theaters. It was narrated by Jim Carrey in 1999. "Under the Sea 3D" continues to draw audiences after 122 weeks in release, demonstrating the strong legs and significant appeal for which original IMAX 3D productions are often known. It grossed $32,308 from 13 markets and its international cume now stands at $33.2 million.

Mr. Popper's Penguins - $10,145,662
