Social media, has changed the world in the last years. I don't think we can imagine a time when you won't be able to know what your favorite artist is up to.
But you need to be informed of the truth when it comes to official accounts.
Jim Carrey has his own Twitter account and recently he changed the profile. Now it says:
The ONLY official social media account for Actor Jim Carrey!
Jim Carrey did this to make sure people understand once and for all that he truly only has one social media account and that's on Twitter. Check his Twitter here.
Every time you see the blue verified badge, near the name, it means the account is authentic. That means that the artist in question (whoever they may be) has gone to Twitter and let them know: "Hey That's me!"
We at JCO would like to take this opportunity to let fans know, that any other account IS NOT Jim Carrey. Period. There are fan accounts of course but any other person who uses Jim Carrey's name, photos and claim they are Jim, IT'S NOT TRUE!
It's someone trying to scam you, so please, be aware of it and block and report that account. Jim doesn't approach fans by any other direct way besides his own replies on his official Twitter account.
When or if Jim Carrey decides to create any other official social media account, he will be the first to let his fans know, and we at JCO will be second to pass his message.
