Jim Carrey References In "Close Enough"
27 Jul 2020

By Eva Araújo (Web correspondent)

"Close Enough" is an adult animated series from HBO Max. It premiered on July 9th and it's premise is: "Not the perfect family, but close enough".

One thing that stood out for us, is this video we found, that shows all the references to Jim Carrey and his movies. Especially in the episode called 'The Canine Guy', which is the first 22 minute episode of the series. It features references to various Jim Carrey films from the '90s, such as Dumb and Dumber, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, The Cable Guy (which the episode's title parodies), and The Mask.

Check out the video:

Jim has been a comedy reference for many years, we are glad that it still happen and we sure hope that never change.

We at JCO will keep you updated as more news come.
