Happy New Year

Another year has passed and again it feels like he just flew by. This year we didn't have many news articles about Jim Carrey. Here are some of the most interesting news from this year.
2023 started with nominations for "Sonic the Hedgehog 2". Jim Carrey was nominated Favorite Movie Actor at Kids' Choice Awards for his role as Robotnik, but unfortunately didn't win. Nothing to worry though since in past years he has had 13 nominations and 6 wins.
In November last year Jim announced that he was leaving Twitter. And in February this year it was official, he deleted his account. Ever since Elon Musk bought the social media things have changed with the platform. Jim had been active on Twitter since 2018, posting and shared with his fans and being one of the top celebrities with most followers. We do have to admit: we are missing him there.
Rumors have flown, since the production of "Sonic 3" and "Knuckles" started, about Jim Carrey participation in both of them. So far there's still no confirmation if Jim will be in any of those projects.
We spend a lot of time without seeing Jim Carrey until October, when two great photos surfaced of him participation in a Soundbath in New York. The owner of the place had some nice words to say about it.
Few weeks after we saw Jim in another rare public outing as he enjoyed a Thanksgiving dinner with pals Seth Green and Jeff Ross. He looked relaxed in black jeans and a black t-shirt with a yellow smiley face on it.
At the end of the year and beginning of the Holidays season, more rumors started about the possibility of him reprising his role as "The Grinch". The rumors, unfounded as usual, forced Jim's team to issue a disclaimer to say that it was a lie: "There is no truth to Jim reprising his role as the Grinch in a sequel to The Grinch."
We do hope the New Year will bring more news about Jim Carrey. But early in 2024, in February, there will be the event "Canadian Comedy Hall Of Fame". Jim is among the nominees.
