If there was any doubt that we're right in the middle of award season, here's a couple more to confirm it:

- Nickelodeon's 14th Annual Kids' Choice Awards -


Jim Carrey is nominated for Favorite Movie Actor and "The Grinch" for Favorite Movie. Voting starts on February 12 at participating Burger King® restaurants in the US, online at Nick.com, through balloting in Nick Magazine and by calling a toll-free number displayed during programming on Nickelodeon.

The event will air live from the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, CA, on Saturday, April 21, starting at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

- The 7th Annual Blockbuster Entertainment Awards -


Jim Carrey is nominated as Favorite Actor (Comedy) for "The Grinch" and as Favorite Actor (Comedy/Romance) for "Me, Myself & Irene".

Renée Zellweger is also nominated as Favorite Actress and Michael Bowman as Favorite Supporting Actor for "Me, Myself & Irene".

"Grinch"'s Christine Baranski and Molly Shannon are both up for a Favorite Supporting Actress award, while Jeffrey Tambor competes in the Favorite Supporting Actor category.

The awards are presented by Blockbuster and Entertainment Weekly magazine and are scheduled to air April 11 at 8 p.m. on Fox. Voting begins January 30 at Blockbuster stores worldwide and online at Blockbusterawards.com.
