Tentative Release Dates
01 Jan 2003

With all of the films that are on Jim's production schedule, Carrey fans have been anticipating a replay of 1994: a year of Carrey film trifecta. However, with production schedule woes for "Lemony Snicket" (now the official name, as the studio wants to avoid a long title), fans may only get two films this year: "Bruce Almighty" and "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind."

And that's bad how? (In other words, it really isn't...)

So far, the relase schedule is looking like this: "Bruce Almighty," May 23, 2003 (that THIS spring, folks, hehe); "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," reports had it at December of 2003 (personal note: looks like this heavy drama wants to be considered for Oscar gold); "Lemony Snicket," TBA for 2004; and finally "Over the Hedge, TBA for 2005. (Remember that one? Jim's set to play the voice of the animated version of "RJ" the raccoon of the popular comic strip "Over the Hedge.")

Now, while I've got your attention, there are two future POSSIBLE films out there in production limbo that Jim is attached to: the Howard Hughes biopic (which takes place AFTER the DiCaprio/Scorcese film "The Aviator") and that long ago mentioned "Children of the Dust Bowl" (Jim is supposed to play the part of Leo Hart.) JCO will do it's research on this one and will report in a future news article - just to whet your appetite.;-)
