Well, the 'boy's done good! Not only is Fun With Dick and Jane well on it's way to cracking $100M in the US but it's beginning to make it's presence felt in the European market. Despite dodgy voice dubbing, the Germans have embraced it enough to send it rocketing into pole position in their movie chart, fending off the Lion and the Monkey, after it's January 5th release.
In it's first weekend it took $2.5 million on 473 screens, a promising start, and the rest of the European market will watch with interest.
Fun With Dick and Jane opens in Great Britain on 20th January.
