I'm feeling really sad. My Mum's away on holiday and I don't really know many people up here where I live now. I miss my Mum a lot when she goes on holiday, so today is no exception. I could do with someone to talk to, but there's no one online.

I know I can get through this week, because I have spent a lot longer by myself, but the first day is always really horrible. I'm very close with my Mum, and I feel a bit lost when she's not just down the road from me!!

Nope i just joined thats why. I am only allowed to take Holidays if there i an emergency. Otherwise no casual leaves.

I'm less happy than I was before. Things just seem to have gone south for the week. It's bound to get better, but still. . . the light at the end of the tunnel seems overpowered by the darkness in the space between it and I.
