I think it could be a surprise and brake the box office with a big hit! as truman did sometime. It´s a Very good story and a new Carrey kinda role, and now people is ready to watch it.

GO GO GO!!!!!!!!! :P:D

If it wont do as well as fun with dick and jane then Jim has got a major probelm. Seriously... I dont think his movies are getting better. No offence to Jim. Sure they're a little funny but.... nup no way not good. Eternal Sunshine was great I loved it.... then lemony snickets was.... not as good. Fun with dick and jane.... was ok..... then the number 23.... well if thats not as good as fun with dick and jane then it would turn out to be a 1/10 because dick and jane was like 3/10 for me. But there were bits I still liked. It just didnt make me go ha ha alot like Liar Liar and stuff. I think Jim will make this go pretty well and the box office will give it around a 6/10 star at least.

ESOTSM didn't do all that great financially but if you look at the praising it gets around the web, it doesn't seem to matter that much!
I stopped worrying about the box office, I probably won't even look at what Number 23 makes...

my thoughts exactly. but if we are talking figures here, i believe it is going to be like when Truman Show, The Majestic, Man on the Moon and ESTOM came out. people will be turned off by it because it is not what they are used to seeing from Jim and they still aren't. But i do believe that it will do well in theaters and even better in DVD sales (like FWD&J.)

Right now I think it will gross $60 - $80 millions.

Good numbers for a drama/thriller I think. :)

It's sad to see how some people still have a hard time detaching Jim from comedy, 8 years after The Truman Show... If they're still expecting this with Number 23, they're up for a big surprise, I mean the man looks SCARY!

that would be my guess by i will go out on a limb and say 100 million or a little bit more....there is a good chance it it will pull in at least that much.
