and you have to give a come back that will topple the question, or distract or be more inappropriate to conteract.
It's like a tennis match, bantering back & forth.
It should be more of a synchronized discussion of discovery of all things of interest to the person being interviewed. It's really about the person being interviewed not the interviewer, sure they can throw in a few anticdotes but in the end it is about who the story should be about.

Yea Howard is a tough one but Jim seems to have gotten used to him since that inteview. They are friends now and they will do favors for each other.
