It sounds a bit like the soundtrack for 'Friday Night Lights' by 'Explosions in the Sky'. But I don't have it with me now, so I can't look ... um, hear.

I think I checked that out because someone mentioned that band as well. But don't they just do guitar/bass/drums? and not piano?

Depends. I have all the albums, sometimes there's a piano involved.
