i think i missed something but it sounds as though he was hacked by folk wanting him to follow them.........

i'd no idea that could be done but it might explain some of the folk i'm 'following'..........lol.....

Yes there was a problem with the follow button and people were finding ways to force people to follow them using the button. Thats why he was following those 2 people. It was not done by him they forced it by hacking the button. I hope that made sense.

Ohh so that was part of that hacking thing. So Jim & those other celebrities weren't really following that person. Makes sense.

I can see why Jim was so upset. It's stupid when ppl do things for no good reason, just a waste of time (like he said)
