Will Jim ever win an Oscar?

In my opinion his ability to become a character you can believe in is unbelievable. It's only a matter of time before he finds that one character that makes an oscar a sure thing.

Jim should win for ESOTSM or at least nominated....if he doesnt then the oscars does fraud.

Curious, I thought he has already one. Did he not get one for the Truman Show and for a few other movies, too?
However, if he did not have one yet he will surely get one in future. He made so many different movies and proved that he is an allaround actor that he MUST get one.

He's recieved a Golden Globe for The Truman Show and Man on the Moon, but no Oscar yet.

If he doesnt win one (or at least get nominated) for Eternal Sunshine, I will be eternally pissed off at the academy for screwing him over for 3 amazing performances...but i have faith that even if he doesnt get one for Eternal Sunshine, he will win one eventually

Of course he will, eventually. He's an amazing actor who, in the beginning of his career, didn't pick Oscar type roles. However, he's picked roles lately which should have brought him to the Oscars. I'm still a little over the Man on the Moon snub. Anyway, he may get a nomination for ESOSM. Hopefully. If he doesn't there will be plenty more roles and films in the future. Eventually he will have a little gold man on his mantel. Also, he's stubborn. He doesn't have any plans to disappear. As long as he's making movies, he has a very good chance on Oscar night.

i totally think that some day he will receive an oscar...it won't be for a funny crazy movie...i think he'll do somthing very out of character for him and it'll blow peoples minds...

i would love to see the speach. the speach he gives us at the MTV awards and when he gives the awards at the oscars r funny as hell just think of what the oscars speach would be like after him waiting for so long
