well that webcast was like 5 years ago or something and he hasn't been online since, I wish he was tho!! I could tolerate him I bet, guys always tell me I give them no pressure which is surprising to me

Some stars are even interested in speaking to their fans. I know one, her name is Zemfira. Not because it is a PR action, but.. she for exmpl understands that she owes the fans her star position.

Of course there were fans suicides etc, what made her hate the fans for some moments, but anyway, what makes Jim keep away from his fans? Why not come and speak? Why not organize webconversatian after an event (like with journalistes)?

Yeah, I would vote for it, and probably so would everybody else. The only reason I can think of is that this isn't an official site.....

I can't speak for Jim, but one time my friend who is a TV actor and I "Googled" his name as a laugh and ran across a forum group similar to this one. When we read all these 12 - 16 years old girls saying all the nasty things they wanted to do to his body, it freaked him out. He also said it was creepy to read what people think of you, trying to analyze every move or expression, so we stopped. Could be that some actors/actresses don't need (or don't want) to know what people think of them.
