Nope..................it's a great British movie with the late great, 'Sir Alec Guiness'.............
it's so highly regarded that ANY re-make will be hammered..........
So why even try.................

sod re-makes, lets go with creative, ground breaking indy movies for the really stylish stuff...........and big budget Hollywood jollys for the cash flow.......
What about modern British and European cinema.................We have amazing British comedy writers..............Ben Elton, Rik mayall, Aid Edmonson, Rowan Atkinson, Jennifer Saunders and of course Billy Connolly and Richard Curtis.................
mix up with Jim Carrey and BOOM!!!!..........a mega talent explosion...........

im not sure. Jim IS AN AWESOME ACTOR and all but i would really wanna see him remake one of IMDB's top 250 if he cant put it in the top 250.

Jim and leslie neilson would be awesome together... and robin williams there all comedy geniuses!! lol :D .... it would be a shanme though if they were all competing against eachother for the joke lol. :D
