i'm talking generally, not personally..................lol......... if we can't change the world or change lives i'm happy to make people smile......
lol.........of course there's 'other' things which are good too.........lol..
but y'know sometimes making other people really happy is as good as, if not better than sex................lol..........

Ok, I put the birthday mod back online with a little modification.
The original way it was invoked, required a lot of system ressources, that's why we had to remove it. Everytime a user accessed the main page, there was a huge database query. Now the output is generated once a day in the morning and stored in a file, which will then be included the whole day long. The only drawback are, that new users don't appear in the list, when they register on their birthday and that the timezone the birthdays are updated is (currently) CET. But the update happens at 7 am CET.

ya awsome......and if it helps....there is a Birthday thread in the members section u can make as a sticky so people will can know if the list on the main page ever gets taken off.
