welll i think the scariest movie ever is The Exorcist (1973),it's is very scary.And so is The Silence of The Lambs(1991).

By the way: I heard that Freddy Krüger has this name because "Freddy" was the name of a kid that murdered its family and "Krüger" is a German name and the Americans fear(ed) the Germans because of the World Wars and stuff like that. And he lives at Elm Street because Kennedy was killed there. Is that all true?
@Lana: Therefore it was very funny when they made fun of "Silence of the Lambs" in "Cable Guy", wasn't it

Is there such thing as a funny horror flick?
I for one thought the nightmare on elm street movies where hilarious. But then thats my sense of humor!! Shawn of the dead was funny and scary, if zombie flicks scare you. But funny for the most part!

Yeah, Shaun of the Dead is a very funny movie. I have it on DVD.

I like the end when they are playing that video game in the shed. Comic genius. I love it!
