:-k this will be the first Canadian Winter without snow,
usually we always get even some, even if only a few flakes
But rain, ich, ich, ich,
I hear it's cold down there in California, it's bordering on
30 -32 degrees up here, very unusual for us.
I wonder why????,
Is it global warming?,
war activiities? anomolies in space or the atmosphere???
I wonder!
Maybe it's SANTA induced, to make us more grateful for the past.
HMMMMMM...
Any scientist out there have any ideas???????

Highly Unusual Weather...

Still no snow, a little came and melted during the holidays, but all
in all there really has't been much.
And it's suppose to get even warmer up here this weekend.
Strange, strange weather.

Well I just got back from the train and there's snow in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona! In the northern parts of course!

Funny and Believe it or Not

My daughter is expecting a baby around the same time as
Jim's birthday, it's suppose to be between Jim's birthday and my
mom's birthday, we shall see.
Any bets for how close she will be??(Just kidding)
but really she is due around then.
That must be cold there in Texas etc.
We are almost balmy up here, but a little of a cold wind,
sunny though, thankfully, and it's suppose to get warmer.

Wow, strange indeed.

Well, we had a blow out the other day. Our car hit a nail! Can you believe it! A NAIL! We started to swerve and we almost had a roll over! We started going westward on the eastbound lane! Then we crashed into the median! Waited for the tow turck.......a cop showed up and wanted to tow us but he had to go on a chase after the offer.....five cars stopped to see if we were ok. The tow truck pulled us to a Bossellmen's (which is a truck stop) and we spent most of the night there. The trip would nomally have been a five hour one but after all of the stops we took and that almost crash, it turned out to be 13! The only thing the driver was thinking was that she was going to kill us! She didn't worry about herself, she just wanted to get us to saftey! We all got out of the car and stood in the freezing rain and just hugged each other, glad to be alive!

we all feel like we are being hardened by the refiners fire.
To become strong. Sure hope it strenghtens instead of weakens.

Winter is baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!

Well, it's summer here in Brasil and today was a really hot day. I think today I ate more ice cream than has ever been consumed by a human being... :D

Even though it is still really cold up here....

I've been craving ice cream too, sounds good PC
Soon the snowmobiles will be roaring around, lots n lots of snow up
here. White, wild and wonderful.
It looks so beautiful after a snowfall.
All white and clean.

Canada is beautiful and if you dress nice and snug and warm, it
can even seem sooo amazing. I'd love to see Brazil myself, maybe
someday for me too. When I look at the map of North America and
see the Great Lakes, it is wonderful to know that we can enjoy these
beautiful lakes, and how much we need to take care of them.
I'm looking out the window of the library at he sparkling, sparkling
snow, it looks like a sheet of diamonds twinkling, just beautiful.
Well, I'm a Nana now, we have a beautiful baby boy in the family,
I hope he calls me Nana Jayne.
