lol........we didn't have a pond or lake but we did have a burn (small stream)......i lived there as a kid, we'd build dens on the embankment, fish for minows (lol....nothing actually lived in that poisoned water though.....lol) and had a blast........NO paddling though, you risked broken glass and needle stick injuries.......lol........

so many things are named after me, its not even funny.
When once asked what I would do if I met Jim I said that I would give him so many hugs because he is so damn HOT and then I would tell him to get married. Response, "he is hot, but...nevermind."

I remember going into a small pond, was once a stream but I guess it flooded, and building raft and floating on the pond. Now th stream/pond it gone and is now underground in storm drains or whatever, no sign of the stream ever having been there. I also remember the water was pretty dank though and getting sick later. I remember it being a fun day though and going home soaked, good thing I could do my own laundry when I was a kid.
