jimliker, I was "offered" to work on those films, because I paid someone $70 bucks a month to book me on "whatever they felt like" so it wasn't really my choice. Also, I'm not ridiculing those who do ask for autographs, if Alfred Hitchcock, Jimmy Stewart or Lucille Ball were still around, I'd most likely ask them for autographs and a photo because they're legends to me. As of now I'm trying to find out how to contact Kitty Kallen so I can ask for her autograph, most people probably have no idea who she is, I don't even care for autographs but just to tell them I like them would be cool. So maybe I won't even ask for autographs. You're right about the photo thing though but I don't know why I have no use to ask Jim for a photo, I would just feel wrong to ask him (personally) who knows, maybe I'm crazy for not getting those things from him, I don't know myself.

I mean actual IN LOVE - like you love a partner, family member or husband...

I'm sorry Priya, but from your posts, it looks like you are trying to pick a fight with JT. I thought we were all past that. A lot of this has brewed up from jealousy because JT has met Jim. Who cares? She's in the industry and has been lucky. One of us lot might be just as lucky to come across him one day, but if we don't, oh well, life goes on...

No, but this grudge really has to end. I used to bitch to JT, and I've learnt how childish it is. We're all people for goodness sake, it's just some of us are luckier than others.

I'm so happy this has happened for you!

As I've said before, I'm not a real hardcore Jim Carrey fan. I just came here out of curiosity one day because I remembered something my mother had said a long time ago.

I will say that sometimes looking at his pictures really bothers me because he looks so familiar somehow.

I've gotten a lot of laughs and a barn full of support from the posters on this board. It's a riot, admit it!

And I think that some of the interviews I've read of Jims have actually really helped me deep down to know that I'm not alone in the way I think sometimes.

This board is a terrific thing. Look at all the posters who get along! From all different countries. It's really profound and uplifting.

This board used to be my life, but I'm not going to allow that anymore.

I've had a LOT happen to me in the last 3 weeks. I've decided not to move off this island, there's been some fantastic family news, my Dad has been away working, and I've fallen for a guy. I've had no choice but to grow up, and to grow up fast. I know this isn't the place to talk about this, but hey.

Some of the people here are great, but I'm sick of going on boards and seeing people fighting, arguing, bitching - all the things I see too much of in my own life, without needing to see it on here. What would any person think if someone was arguing over them? They'd hate it.

This grudge between Priya and JT needs to stop, and it needs to stop now, because it's bloody childish and petty.

Oh, by the way *waves* Hiya JT, hope you've been having fun on film sets!

That's my point. I can't be bothered to argue anymore. I've argued myself out. I never enjoyed arguing with people. It's not something I thought I'd just come on here and do.
I'm a much more relaxed person now. I don't know where it's come from, but it's like something has hit me. I have learnt to walk away, calm down, then come back. At the moment, I still don't feel like me. This is a new thing to me.
