Another n00b!

Hi everyone, long time fan of Jim Carrey -- there is no other actor alive today who can make me crack up as much as this guy does (apart from Ricky Gervais).
How can anyone NOT find this guy funny?! I know people who think he's so NOT funny, but they're missing out. Right?!
I'm a final year law student, and am hoping to travel around the world upon graduation. I'm in Sydney, home to the best beaches around the globe (apart from Tea'hupoo and North Shore! Those waves are gnarly, man!).
Will be participating in discussions when time allows me. Meanwhile, have to say I (like all of you) cannot believe Jim Carrey was overlooked for an Oscar nomination for ESOTSM -- what's up with that, dude?! Bloody ridiculous. Needless to say, the recent Oscars were the most boring in a long time. As for "Million Dollar Baby" winning Pic of the Year? NOOOOO WAY! Have seen it, it's ok but definitely not Oscar-worthy. It's reminiscent of other boxing movies, the only difference was that the hero is a girl -- woopy doo lalala. Zzzzzzzzzzz.
