We never use the chat - chat thread.....

I noticed that the board has a chat option, only no one ever uses it, so I thought maybe if we had a thread and someone could post that they are in chat at a certain time, others might join in.
So...I guess this is that thread...if it sounds like a viable idea.
Otherwise...this thread will sink slowly down the page, never to be seen again once it's on page two and will serve to be a semi-permanent reminder of my failure to come up with a good idea to get people into chat.

Sounds like a good idea. It's so simple. Just click on the 'chat' link on the top of this page. I just logged in.....there's only me online.
I don't know if I'll be able to chat much, though. The time I'm spending on this site is already giving me green dreams

It IS simple! The other day I just noticed that a few people were on at the same time...and I wanted to say, HI...but I thought that would be gratuitously off topic...then I thought of the poor echochamber chatroom....and wondered how it could be used. My suggestion would be, if you're on...and you feel like chatting...and page one tells you that other folks are here, too...just post here that you'll be in chat for a bit...maybe we'll never catch each other...then again, maybe we will.

jaer. I would also think it would be great if people also was on the chat board. Cause it so borring to see that you are the only one who goes to the chat and then see that no one is in there...
then you feel a little bit lonely. And that, is not good..
