The only problem is that Jim probably won't do it and it will end up flopping like The Mask 2 and Dumb and Dumberer.

True. But if they make a sequel movie where it left off, no one is able to replace Jim. There's still a 50% chance of Jim doing Cable Guy 2, since he made Ace Ventura 2.

Yes but Jim had to do Ace 2 cause it was in his contract. He said he didn't like doing it tho cause he felt like he was impersonating himself.

cotton makes a good point.... remember Jim doesn't like doing sequels..... which is the reason that the ONLY sequel he has made was one he had to do.

Yeah, sequels seem to ruin the original films...no offense, the cable guy was a great movie though

If Jim would do Cable Guy 2, the movie would be AWESOME!!! But if Jim wouldn't do Cable Guy 2, it would flop (just like The Mask 2 and Dumb and Dumberer), it would only be good if Jim was in it.

Sorry, Cable Guy was a good movie but a sequel ??? Don't think so, especially if Jim couldn't do it. I wouldn't see it. NOBODY can follow Mr. Carrey and pull it off.

actually, I think Cable Guy 2 could be a great movie, ONLY if Jim was in it though.

Nope.................the ending was poignant........if we return in a sequel it will lose all sensitivity.........There will be nothing to keep us thinking because we'll know the ultimate outcome of 1..........

But i did love the film................especially the karaoke scene.......psychedelic maaaaaan!!!..........'it's the summer of love'.....

the only weird thing is there isnt really anystory. if there is it would be about torturing that guy on that airplane that was lifting chip out.

If there's no story, there's no need for a sequal.

Jim needs to focus on fresh, new ideas from fresh, new writers.

Cable Guy 2 would be uber pants! Sequels are dull. Originals are good!
