For any of you guys out there who haven't yet had the opportunity to purchase something for your Valentine, here's a list of things you should NOT give her:

1. A box of chocolates, clumsily rearranged in an attempt to hide the fact you ate all the caramel ones.
2. Lingerie that you think will look almost as good on her as on the Victoria's Secret model.
3. Any clothing item with the words "push-up" or "slim-down" on the label.
4. Any food item with the words "diet", "light", or "high fiber" on the label.
5. Any video starring Sylvester Stallone, Jim Carrey, or Jenna Jameson.
6. Flowers from a hospital's gift shop--or worse, a mortuary's.
7. Poetry, no matter how heartfelt, that starts out "There was once a girl from Nantucket..."
8. Anything you ever gave another woman, including your mother.
9. Any household appliance, power tool or other item from the harder side of Sears.
10. A gift certificate.
11. Cash.
12. Anything you could have bought at the gas station mini-mart on the way over, even if you didn't.
13. An apologetic look and the words "That was today?"

That reminds me, I used to work at Blockbuster and I praised to some couple about Eternal Sunshine being the best movie of 2004 and the man went, 'Sorry, my girlfriend's allergic to Jim Carrey!', then she looked at me with the most retarted smile (at least to me). Everyone is entitled to their opinion but damn, I just wanted to punch her! Just like the people around IMDB : 'Jim Carrey can do drama!? Man, I gotta climb out from under that rock!'

Anyway I disagree with the cash one....

Most women would love to have cash on hand and buy what they want
instead of pretend to like what they were given, only a man who truly
knows his love with get her what she really likes, even my husband
doesn't even know what I'd like, but I'm always changing my mind so
unless he knows how I really feel at that moment, I'll probably never
be happy with anything. Kinda sad really. Good think he didn't get me
anything, I guess that's one way to be safe.

a small technical problem i've been having....maybe cotton or fluffy can explain why when i try to quote someone it never shows up in the yellow box...?!? should i leave a space between the quote and my reply or not...? it seems either way it never works....

by the way, 'the number 23' should definitely be left off of EVERY guys future valentine's day gift list....his girlfriend/wife will be saying Jim's name in bed for weeks.

That's mean to not give someone a gift with Jim Carrey in it. He's awesome. Try the Mask or the Magestic.
