I voted for the Labyrinth-guy. I thought Brothers Grimm wasn't good at all, so that explains my vote.
I also would like Alfonso Cuaron to direct (Harry Potter Azkaban, Y tu mama Tambien, Children of Men) or Steven Spielberg. He also, could make this work, although I think 'War of the Worlds' was weak. Also M. Night Shyamalan would be great. I know some people hate his twist-plots, but when it comes to directing and having a vision, this guy is heaven!

Guillermo del Toro would be my 1st pick. He is very imaginary and would make this Movie have a unique feel to it.
M. Night Shyamalan would be my 2nd pick, Ron Howard my 3rd, Riddley Scot my 4th and Terry Gilliam my 5th.
They would all be great Directors for this Movie, and if Guillermo del Toro would somehow turn out to be the Director, than that would be an upgrade over Tim Burton, IMO.
Though Tim Burton has more to show for with a larger quantity of good Movies. Guillermo del Toro is relativity new to Directing, but Pans Labyrinth is just as good, if not better, than any Tim Burton Movie.

If they offer him the role, he'll turn it down like he does with every Movie.JimCfan wrote:The one and only choice is: Terry Gilliam!!

I need to see some of his Movies, they look very different and interesting. Which is what I dig.chip wrote:I loved his "12monkeys", i dont think he ruined that movie, actually he did a masterpiece, also I love "Brazil". He can do a weird movie at the same time an inteligent movie, and think he has sense of humor too, that might work with Jim and with a wonderful and good film.
