Great poopings
03 Jun 1999 Considering the storyline of "Me, Myself and Irene" it's really not a surprise when we hear about such unusual production delays like this one reported by The Boston Herald:
"Hear about the three-hour holdup on the set of 'Me, Myself and Irene,' the fab Farrelly Brothers movie being filmed down in Rhode Island?
Peter and Bobby, the Cecil B. DeMilles of gross-out movies, were shooting a scene involving a large Great Dane that constantly, er, soils, a lawn that is the prized possession of the schizo Rhode Island state trooper played by Jim Carrey. Trouble is, the pooch just couldn't get into character the other day. So they waited. And waited. And waited. But nature did not call.
But no, the Farrellys weren't forced to get Ace Ventura on the case. We hear a crew member was dispatched to a doggie doc to get some doggie Ex-Lax. Hope they had a big pooper-scooper!"
