Forbes list Jim Carrey at Number 8

When Jim Carrey announced that he was NOT going to take his usual fee for the movie "Yes Man", opting instead to be a film investor in exchange for a third of all profits, eyebrows were raised.
However in doing so he backed a winner, with the quirky comedy pulling in over $200 million worldwide guaranteeing him at least $28 million, expected to rise to $35 million.

The success of this strategy ensured his place in the Forbes 'Hollywood's Top-Earning Actors' list with Jim at No. 8, above Brad Pitt and behind Tom Cruise.
Harrison Ford was No. 1 with earnings of $65 million between June 2008 and June 2009.
