Kidding Nominated for Golden Reel Awards

If you look at a movie or a TV screen, you may think that very few people get involved in the making of our favorite movie or TV show. But… you would be wrong. Hundreds of people are working behind that screen to make our fiction come true.
One of those group of people are the sound editing department. They add the mood for every scene you see.
The MPSE - Motion Picture Sound Editors, is "an organization dedicated to improving the recognition of its members by educating the public and the rest of the filmmaking community as to the artistic merit of sound editing."
Every year they held an award ceremony called "Golden Reel Awards" to award the best.
Jim Carrey's TV show "Kidding" is one of the nominees in the category of "Broadcast Media: Live Action Under 35:00".
The ceremony will be held, Sunday the 17th from 5:30 to 10:00 pm at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles.
