Sonic 2 is now Jim Carrey's biggest opening ever

Jim Carrey's new movie "Sonic the Hedgehog 2" is in theaters. With a sky-high opening weekend for the movie it broke many box office records. It now has the record for biggest opening ever for a video game film domestically, the first movie collected $58 million in its first three days of release. Now we just get to sit back and see how high the movie will climb!
But the most impressive stat has to be "Sonic the Hedgehog 2" making for the biggest opening in Jim Carrey’s career. Jim has been a box office draw for decades now and has an incredible history in cinema, but seeing Sonic the Hedgehog 2 set a new record for the actor is pretty mind-boggling.
