Robotnik Takes a Wild Turn in Sonic the Hedgehog 4

At CinemaCon, 2 days ago, Paramount revealed the first footage of "Sonic the Hedgehog 4" and for Jim Carrey fans, the biggest surprise is impossible to ignore: Dr. Robotnik might not be the villain this time.
The short teaser shows Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, and Shadow joining forces with Robotnik, who appears to be leading a mission to save the world. It’s a huge twist for Carrey’s iconic character, who has been the franchise’s main antagonist throughout the first three films.
For fans, this unexpected alliance opens the door to a more complex and unpredictable Robotnik—something Jim Carrey excels at bringing to life with his signature energy and humor.
With the film set to hit theaters on March 19, 2027, excitement is already building.
