Lemony Snicket reaches $200 Million Box Office

"Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events" finally opened in Japan last weekend. It grossed a solid $4,301,160 from 319 screens. Lemony Snicket's worldwide total reached $204,000,000 according to Boxofficemojo.com.

Will there be a sequel?
Director Brad Silberling answered that question in Pittsburgh Post-Gazette last week:
- Well, if I had to put even money on it, I would say yes. [But] it's not in the works yet. They are just now in the process of trying to get going. There is no script, but there will be one written. One can assume pretty safely that there will probably be a sequel.
