Lemony Snicket in Competition for Makeup Oscar®

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced the seven films being considered for Achievement in Makeup for the 77th Academy Awards®. Lemony Snicket is one of them:
- The Aviator
- De-Lovely
- Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
- Hellboy
- Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events
- The Passion of The Christ
- The Sea Inside

Ten-minute clip reels from each of the seven films will be screened for the Makeup Award Nominating Committee on January 22. The members may nominate up to three of these seven films for Oscar consideration.
The finalists will be announced along with nominations in 24 other categories on Tuesday, January 25, 2005 , at 5:30 a.m. PST.
