Jim Carrey Golden Globe Presenter

Jim Carrey is one of the more than 45 Hollywood stars who have been set as presenters at the 62nd Annual Golden Globe Awards to be telecast live on NBC Sunday, January 16 (8 - 11:00 p.m. EST) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. He is also nominated in the category:
Best performance by an actor in a motion picture - Musical or comedy
- Jamie Foxx, Ray
- Jim Carrey, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
- Paul Giamatti, Sideways
- Kevin Kline, De-Lovely
- Kevin Spacey, Beyond the Sea
Golden Globes are handed out by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, a comparatively small group of about 90 reporters for overseas news outlets. Yet with a nationally televised awards ceremony on NBC and a solid knack for picking eventual Academy Awards winners, the Globes wield a fair amount of sway among the 5,800 Oscar voters.
